You light up my life...

Christmas isn't Christmas without Christmas lights.  Growing up, we had blue lights.  Blue lights year after year.  Blue isn't a Christmas colour Dad - didn't anyone tell you?  But it was our Christmas light colour.  After I moved out, they went with colour lights, but somehow, I still see their house as needing blue lights.

Me, well colour all the way baby.  Funny enough, one year Chris bought blue lights.  I knew I married my Dad!!  But they seemed to be a bad batch.  So were the white ones for two years!  Last year, the colour lights were just so beautiful in our great big tree, I knew we found "our" colour.  And apparently so did the squirrels!!  They ate through them, but I am not about to be out done by some cute rodents - so this year I added three more strands.

And my front door has this beautiful Santa that my mom bought me a few years ago.  Lights and Santa.  Now it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

That is a gorgeous Santa and the lights are so pretty. Have Chris come put some up at my house would ya'? Brian hasn't put any up in about 5 years. I did buy a wreath for the front door today though.
