On the second day of December.....

This is  last years  photo with Santa.  We need to go visit him again soon, as the kids are asking about him.

Last night I had my staff Christmas Party.  It was good to sit down for dinner with friends that I don't get to eat dinner with often.  Everyone looked pretty, all dressed up.  

One of my annual traditions is to collect money for our staff charity, North  Shore Family Services.  It's a bit of a challenge as many of the staff this time of year are just starting their jobs, and by no means making a ton of cash themselves.  To boot, the economy has everyone worried and times are tougher than usual for many.  But the spirit was alive and well last night, and along with the collections through the week, I was able to help raise over $1000 which will really benefit other families. 

Now that is what Christmas is all about, the giving spirit.
