I'm thinking it's pretty funny, but I don't think Chris will laugh as much. Do you think she just wanted to scrap with me??

Scrapping Dog
7 Years Strong
Today Chris and I celebrate seven years of marriage. What are we doing? Well, he's at motorcycle school and I'm about to take the kids out for a walk. But in reality - that's why we have a good marriage, it's about give and take. This is a course he really wants to do - and I don't mind postponing our night out. We decided we could spend our quality time on Saturday together.
I love this man. For all the the things that drive me crazy, there are more things I have that I love about him. We are opposites, but that's what gives us something to talk about each day. We tick each other off sometimes, but always kiss goodnight and say we love each other. In days where marriages seem to fail, mine is as strong as ever. I'm lucky, he's lucky - we are lucky (and happy) together. For what started out as friends has grown into so much more. Lucky #7 I say. Happy Anniversary Chris, I love you.

Lay Out of the Day
I was introduced to this new scrapbooking web site by Tracey - called CompuPro. Wasn't really looking to stay and play - but the talent there is great. There is lots of chatter and everyone seems friendly. There seem to be a lot of east coast, and I think that the web was spawned from a local store that many seem to have visited. But it seems to have tons of potential and has already inspired me to do some of my fav LOs this year. This Lay Out was chosen as the Lay Out of the Day - which made me so happy. It was done for a challenge, to make scalloped edges with my scissors. Since I don't have any scalloping tools, I only do scalloped edges with them - so at least I knew what I was doing.
I feel like I'm cheating a bit on the other site - but after months of things dribbling along there - it's still not what it used to be. I'm not giving up - but it was nice to see tons of comments on my work, and to see lots of different styles and talents on the boards without it being overwhelming.
So for now, I will enjoying playing and see where it takes me.

A Tea Party
Last night we started a new tradition. The Tea Party. The boys had planned to go to the BC Lions Football game, so I wanted to do something special with Kaylee. So Jen and I threw a tea party for the girls.
We all dressed up (Kaylee and Rachel were extra cute) in our bestest outfits, donned some hats and extra jewelry, had cookies, cakes and strawberries and headed off to Jen's place.
The places were set with mini plates and proper name tags. The girls were very polite and our tea party was one of our best nights out.
We liked it so much that we've decided to make it a tradition. And when the girls get a bit older - we will go to the Empress Hotel in Victoria and have high tea. I can't wait.
