The Never Ending Meeting

This week seems like I have a meeting that runs first thing from Monday morning through to Friday afternoon.

Actually, it's a series of different meetings.  Monday, PI Index.  Tuesday, training review and meeting with my boss, along with checking in with my team.  Wednesday, training for a new HR system, then finishing off my final presentation.  Thursday, I train using a partly new customer service package.  Friday I deliver my Presentation Plan for the next fiscal.

It's going to be a long long week.  LONG.  But already we have plans for the weekend which include a Parade, a Party and a ball game.  Now those are something to look forward too!

May

What else could I title it?  This is the fourth or fifth time that I have sat down to type my blog.  But life is moving at light speed these days, and well, the blog just hasn't been the priority.

It's not that anything spectacular has happened.  In fact, far from it.  Just  normal everyday stuff.

Mother's Day happened this month.  The kids woke up extra early to jump into bed to tell me they love me.  Nice of them.  I had a hockey theam Mom's Day, which is what I wanted.  Mom, Dad and Rich came for dinner and we had a nice night.  BBQ's some burgers, ate some potatoe salad and strawberry shortcake for dessert.

The weather that weekend, and this one has been fantastic.  Both weekends we swam, ate outside and got out to enjoy the weather.  The weekend inbetween was full of rain.

Our neighbours have this great blow up pool, and the kids have so much fun playing in this.  Of course, we are also hitting the "big" pool, but since I'm always the one in, I don't have pics yet for this year.

Braydon had his first sports day, and loved it.  Much more of a "fun" day than the track and field version of my youth.  As you can see he's having a ton of fun.  We pulled KJ from school for the day, and she too got to participate in a run.

This weekend was full of fun, with nothing really planned.  This morning we went for a  walk in Lynn Canyon, and yesterday we had a great outdoor BBQ with some yummy strawberry banana margaritas.  Summer is just sooo close.
